The AirsoftDude.com Privacy Statement

AirsoftDude.com has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and keeping you free from spam and other forms of intensely annoying advertising. Basically we're here to provide a service and not to bug you or rip you off. That's cool right?

Will We Spam You?

There are plans for an AirsoftDude.com newsletter and when it's released it will be run under a double opt-in process through a third party vendor. This means that if you ever, ever, ever, get e-mail from AirsoftDude it's because you asked us to send you it; actually you asked us nicely not once but twice to send you e-mail. Otherwise it's just somebody spoofing our e-mail address and trying to con you.

AirsoftDude.com agrees not to sell or rent the email addresses of any AirsoftDude.com newsletter subscriber to any third party. None of our emails will ever ask for personal information such as credit card numbers, social security, Paypal details or any other such information.

Forums

We might introduce forums or chat room at some stage in the future. These would be available to members of the public. Any information that you put in a forum or chatroom is instantly public knowledge. AirsoftDude.com won't be held responsible for anything you might discuss on that board or in any chat room we might run.

Cookies

We do link off to companies who sell airsoft products and yes they do use cookies. Your spyware program might identify these as dangerous tracking cookies but they're not. They're just cookies that follow what sites you've been to so that if you go back in future they can customize the site to your shopping preferences. No different to any other legit online store.

Contacting Us

If you have any questions about this privacy statement, the practices of this site, or your dealings with this Web site, feel free to contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as.

Hopefully your mind is now more at ease?

Additional Information

The DoubleClick DART cookie is used by Google in the ads served on publisher websites displaying AdSense for content ads. When users visit an AdSense publisher's website and either view or click on an ad, a cookie may be dropped on that end user's browser. The data gathered from these cookies will be used to help AdSense publishers better serve and manage the ads on their site(s) and across the web.

  • Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site.
  • Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

Because publisher sites and laws across countries vary, we're unable to suggest specific privacy policy language. However, you may wish to review resources such as the Network Advertising Initiative, or NAI, which suggests the following language for data collection of non-personally identifying information:

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here
